Rooftop 81/365
Missed a day due to a busy day and intoxicated night with family and friends. Its a leap year so I will still have 365 photos, it makes for a good excuse anyways.

Old Hand 79/365
Christmas eve was a fun celebration as is tradition for the Cypriot side of our family. Its one of the days my Pappou (grandfather) can come back from the nursing home and eat a real meal with everyone and we are all glad to share it with him.

Night commuter 78/365
Driving home at 11:30pm is kind of cool, there is almost no one on the roads and it goes by very quickly. The bane of night commuter's existence is the lights with no car sensors, the ones on a timer that let every side go every three minutes.

Winter river 77/365
A pleasant and quiet walk through Passaic River Park, 90% of the tracks were all non-human.

Mix! 76/365
Desmond helped me make sesame tofu with brown rice and broccoli today. He had a great time pouring the rice and water in the rice cooker, handing me the broccoli to chop, and most of all, getting to mix! I foresee him laying a three course meal out for us at 7, but we will see :)

Ode to the hoodie 75/365
There is something about the connection of head gear with a jacket that tugs at my heart strings. Many a chill has been curbed by your soft fabric.

This is how we shovel at night 74/365
The mid-atlantic and northeast is being slammed with snow as winter makes it presence known a few days before the solstice.

The Growing Child 73/365
Des has been really taking on a personality recently. He loses himself in what is borderline maniacal laughter, happy to get everyone around him involved and in tune.

Coffee 67/365
Oh how I love thee. I received an early christmas present of a coffeemaker because our feline housemates broke the old one I had.
I have decided to take a week of food related photos, starting with #65.

Sylvan Ave 64/365
Got to visit the regional headquarters for a liability seminar at work, its fun seeing how the "bigwigs" work. They have free coffee all day, thats enough motivation for me to move up :)
First 365 submission taken with a cellphone camera. Liberally edited in Aperture though.

Getting Better 63/365
Working towards a full-fledged mastery with the spoon. Not only can it be consumed without a huge mess but now we have the leisure of intense observation while holding a big load!

Bundled Up 62/365
When has cold ever kept a playful little bear inside? Well, I'm sure it will happen as it isn't even the solstice yet but I am very proud of this little guys spirit to stay outside!

Smoke Break 61/365
Its been over a year since I have smoked a cigarette. My dear brother cannot say the same. At least it makes him a tame subject for photography. Thanks brotah.

First Snow 60/365
First bit of snow to fall here in Jersey. Got an inch in New Providence. All in all a perfect day to not have to go to work.

Little Boots v2 58/365
Found my trusty "macro" lens kit which consists of three screw on magnifying glasses for a lens.

Self Portrait on the Floor 57/365
Waiting late at work to make sure all the grease traps get cleaned out. I know they are done by the horrid smell of putrefying fat.

Fighting Sleep 55/365
My aren't you up so late! Was reading the strobist website today which inspired me to try using the pop-up flash on the camera.

20 Pound Sledge 54/265
Found this in the shed, next to the wood chipper. I promise there are no human remains in my garden...

50/365 These boots were made for walking.
I worked as an apprentice on an organic farm in New Jersey for two years, it was an amazing experience. More than anything I learned how to be a generalist which seems to help me more and more everyday.

Wide Passaic 49/365
Always a good stroll through the woods in Passaic River Park. How did it take 26 years for me to find this place?

Chex 48/365
Discovering both the joys of using a spoon to feed oneself cereal and the crunch of corn chex in the same day is divine.

47/365 Self semi family portrait
Honestly did not have much time to shoot a great photo today, equally as embarrased to admit this was taken with autofocus on the exposure program setting.

Hiram 46/365
Gave my first guitar lesson in a long time today. Its really fun to see someone improve and be able to play a power chord from nothing in 15 minutes.

Gerald Edward 44/365
Went to see a friend rock out in a library. It was an awesome time, I mostly heard the set from the kids room playing with Brio trains but got a quick chance to snap this one from the back.

Window 43/365
My mother told me as a child one of my favorite activities was sitting and looking out of the window. Its such a peaceful activity, it can be thoughtful and reflective or quiet and meditative.

High Mountain Park 41/365
Visiting the Alma matar (sp?) and was reminded of how awesome it is to have a campus set amongst 300 acres of woods. Desmond enjoyed scaling a "Mountain" and experiencing moss.

Aisling 40/365
Des stayed with our friends while we attended the wedding. They were so hospitable and kind.

Getting ready before the big moment. Congradulations and many happy years to Bill and Sandy Addison!

Rehearsal 38/365
Children playing around during a long wedding rehearsal. This would have worked out better at a smaller aperture but this is what I took.

Grainy cat 37/365
This is one of our cats Kale. He is very afraid of my camera so it took the patience of a nature photographer to get this shot. Dreary day led me to use the iso 3200 setting.

Curtains 36/365
Another appreciation for the overcast light that comes around during blah fall days.
